Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A great monument to Benito Juárez located in the Alameda in Mexico City. Very impressive. This monument serves as a rallying point for a variety of local political movements.

I was moved... No - really I was pushed a long by a police office as they were clearing the area for an event. It looked nice though!

I can remember when the Benito Juarez monument looked old, tired, dirty, neglected and unloved, but no more. Plus it was jammed with citizens honoring Mexico's only politician/hero.

This impressive marble structure was commenced in 1906 to commemorate the century since the birth of the stateman Benito Juarez (1806-1872) . It has impressive marble Gothic columns flanking the statue of Juarez who was of humble origins from Oaxaca and became president and a prominent symbol of Mexican nationalism.

Benito Juarez, to whom this monument is dedicated, is perhaps Mexico's only true, untainted hero, yet this monument is dirty and run-down. At least there's no charge to see it.

Located near Palacio de Bellas Artes, this imposing hemicycle monument is dedicated to the memory of Benito Juarez.
He is a national hero and a former president of Mexico who fought against foreign occupation and sought constitutional reforms to create a democratic federal republic.
The monument is impressive and worth a quick stop.
