Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were very pleased with our tour of Mexico City with Urban Day Trips!! Our guide, Cesar B, met us on time at the agreed-upon location, and we started our day with the ruins of the Temple Mayor. Because Cesar is an anthropology scholar, he was able to tell us to give us so much insight and context about what we were seeing. It really mattered to him that we understand the complex early-Aztec understanding of the universe. This became a base for understanding everything we were looking at at the archaeological site, and in the museum.

From there, we saw the Metropolitan Cathedral, and the National Palace, where the president resides. We had an excellent tour of the galleries, filled with historical murals, end of the garden outside.

We took a tuk-tuk style taxi to El Morro, where we had churros and milkshakes, then continued our tour at the Palacio de Bellas artist. The gorgeous façade of the building is Italian design, but the interior is an art deco dream not to be missed.

We ended our tour by stopping by the San Juan Mercado, after which Cesar escorted us to our hotel.

We cannot speak highly enough about Cesar’s knowledge, patience, accommodation, information, professionalism, and general friendliness. We come away from Mexico City feeling educated about its beginnings and embracing its bright future.

Awful experience. We were passing through Mexico City for just 1 night and thought it would be great to check out some Lucha Libre wrestling. Booked this through Trip Advisor a few days before we arrived and it was confirmed that our booking went through. We show up at the meeting point exactly as described and on time. Our guide never shows up. We tried calling the tour operator (who is Urban Day Trips) directly but it just rings to voicemail. We called Trip Advisor and they also are not able to reach the tour operator directly either. Never got a call, text, or email from the trip operator saying they are not going to show up! Unprofessional and will not be booking anything with Urban Day Trips in the future.

Had a super time and our tour guide Julio was so fun and informative. One of the families with us had gone on this tour multiple times and so I can't recommend this one enough. Loads of fun!

We really enjoyed our tour of the Tequila/Mezcal Museum, and the Lucha Libre fight with our guide Julio Escalante. He was really friendly, super informative, spoke great English, easy going, and just plain fun to hang out with in general. It was a great evening!

Cancun- Tulum & Cenotes: Milton arranged a private tour for me, my husband and another couple. I let him know what we wanted and he did EXACTLY what we asked for! From start to finish communicated with me promptly and professionally. He asked questions to help tailor the experience to our liking and worked us on pricing.
Milton picked us at our hotel on time in an air-conditioned van and drive us to a back entrance of Tulum. This way we got free parking and a closer walk to the entrance. He explained just the right amount of information on the history and cultural significance of things. We even went in a back entrance to avoid the crowds.
After Tulum, we stopped at the local grocery store (my request) so we could pick up some things we needed for our resort. I thought that was really nice of him to spend his time letting us make a stop. Then he took us a hidden gem of a little roadside restaurant where we got the best tacos ever. They made them fresh and had delicious local choices.
After lunch, we went to a location with 3 cenotes that wasn't even on the map. we had asked for the least crowded denote and he certainly delivered on that. It was beyond incredible. Crystal, clear water, fish & turtles, and as much time as we wanted to swim, snorkel and relax. The best part was learning about the history and culture and asking permission from the gods in a special Mayan ceremony before we went in. That's something we would not have been able to do on our own and it was worth every penny of the tour price!!
I HIGHLY recommend Milton and Urban Day Trips if you are in the Cancun or Mexico City area. They can customize a trip for you or you can save a little $$ and hop on a group tour. You will not be disappointed!!

This was a great experience. We went through 4 different caves including a cliff diving, zip line and 2 others. The staff was very nice and respectful. Our guide Uriel and his colleague Jose Lious did an amazing job and were very knowledgable about the surrounding geography.

One big negative and probably the only bad thing about the experience were the mosquitos. Those things at us alive. Bring off spray with you 100%.

The food was also good. They served us rice with empanadas and vegetables. They also serve hibiscus tea.

Overall it was an amazing experience and a must do if you are looking for a cave excursion.

P.S. BRING BUG SPRAY!
P.S.S Those mosquitos was not playing.

I took the tour of the Archaeological Museum with Poncho and it was FABULOUS! I would’ve never been able to connect to the museum on my own like I did on this tour. It was fascinating and engaging. Honestly a must do!!

This was an amazing experience! My husband and I were the only ones on this tour so it was private and intimate. Most tours are cancelled if 2 or less are signed up so I was surprised and thankful that Pakoloa (our tour guide) allowed the tour to continue. Pakoloa helped discover parts of the caves so he is very knowledgeable. He explained the history and also allowed free swim time within the cenotes and time for pictures. I recommend renting the wetsuits for your comfort ($10 USD each); we brought our own wet shoes and were allowed to use our GoPro (which was awesome). Afterwards we were given a snack then he drove us for mangos and showed us where all the best restaurants were in downtown Playa del Carmen before dropping us off at the departure point. This was the BEST tour of our trip. Once in a lifetime experience that I would definitely recommend to anyone.

We spent a great day with Ady and Adrian doing what turned out to be a private tour - as we were the only 2 guests. Both guides are well-informed and congenial, willing to adapt to our interests. We visited the Templo Mayor and the museum on site - so many artifacts with explanation of ongoing exploration and interpretation, the Palacio des Bellas Artes and environs - great lunch stop for view of the city and mountains, and the Museo Mural Diego Rivera - in depth explanation of one of the artist's famous murals saved from the 1985 earthquake. We now understand more about Mexican history and culture. We passed on the tasting of insects at the market!! - but guides were willing to take us if we had wanted. All round, a great day. Thanks Ady and Adrian

We did a food and market tour with ulysses! it was really great! We were in downtown Mexico City and saw the real Mexico. He has taken us through different markets and we have been able to try a lot of exotic and traditional food. He also told us a lot about the history and the neighborhood. We would do it again anytime and can only recommend him!!! 👍👍👍
