By far, going to a lucha libre show was the most fun thing and my most favorite experience in Mexico City! Yes, Mexico City has great art and food, but this was such an awesome experience! I highly recommend it! It was not hard to...More

This was probably... no it was the best I experienced in Mexico city. The excitement of the pre-show, before every wrestler comes out. The excitement of the Mexican fans, is contagious. You will find yourself cheering for the Tecnicos, or Rudos (Good guys or bad...More

Must see in Mexico City. We paid ~$2.50 USD to sit in the "gradas" general admission section. Loved every bit of it. Plenty of options to sit closer to the ring if that's more your style, but the "gradas" experience was fantastic. Tickets can be...More

As others have said, getting a ticket (if not Spanish speaking) is a little tricky - go to the window outside the arena and there’s about 1cm space below some very frosted glass. We used this to pass a written down note on what tickets...More

We attended the lucha libre on a Tuesday night, so it was a little slower than Friday, It was so much fun! We brought our two kids, ages 13 and 17, and they had a blast. We aren't really into wrestling, but the performance aspect...More

Baddies vs Goodies .... that's the idea different 'fights' in a very amusing way in pairs or triplets, I went with a bunch of nephews and nieces from 3 to 50 years old we all laugh and shouted participating in the 'fight' which is an...More

The lucha libre is well know as something typical for Mexico. We both really aren't any fans of wrestling or sports events, but we gave it a try. Even when you don't know why someone is winning or what the heck is going on. For...More

I don't know what you've heard about Mexican Lucha Libre, but it is truly, genuinely, the most ridiculously amazing thing you will ever experience. This is an authentically Mexican passtime in a comfortable but gritty arena and that only enhances the experience. I went twice,...More

A safe, cheap and fun activity. The people were surprising polite and friendly, no pushing or shoving. We bought our tickets off a scalper and sat in front of the stage above the floors, couldn't have asked for better seats, well worth the little extra...More

The arena is not huge, so most seats will still give you a good view.

It’s about 2 1/2 hours of a very entertaining show. You can buy the candy and the peanuts outside or they sell sodas, beer, sandwich, chips and candy as welll. Enjoy the Lucha Libre. We did!!!!

No make sure you buy the ticket's at the ticket box, their not very expensive. I would suggest to get a taxi at the hotel and have them pick you up when it's done. That's what I did when my family I went. It's safer... More
