Every Sunday 50km of streets are closed down for cyclists. This is great fun as not just cyclists take part but also roller blades, skate boards etc.

Having the bike tour led by an urban planner who talked about the building of mexico city couldn’t have been better. We saw different architecture and learned about local neighborhoods. Thanks to Antonio and his student team. I would highly recommend this tour.

I made reservations in advance. I think you have to so they know the number of bikes they need to provide. It cost $700 pesos, which is maybe $40 US ($50 Canadian)

I went on a work day (Monday), and no worries at all, I assume Saturday will be even less traffic. No situation was at all uncomfortable, the leader really knows what he is doing.
