We went to Bellas Artes to see the Ballet Folklorico (see separate review). If not interested in seeing the show it is worth it just to tour the building and the amazing architecture. There is a large plaza in front of the building to relax...More

This is a beautiful building that has to be visited. The artworks are Art Deco and the building itself is a work of art, inside and out. You do have to pay to go onto the second floor and beyond. If you want to see...More

Every Wednesday there is a show of Mexican dance and music. We were delighted with it. The building is worth the visit on its own merits, but the show is a must.

Spectacular marble palace in the historic center of Mexico City. It is a living reference of the architectural art deco style of the beginning of the last century. Incredibly decorated and majestically finished interiors that show the wealth and economy of Mexico City. Enjoy the...More

The exhibition of Picasso & Riveria has changed my thinking! I was never impressed with either artist but today i viewed their paintings (instead of their sculptures) and really appreciate their work!

Beautiful on the outside and inside. Sundays are free to the public. I went with 4 kids and a senior citizen. We all loved it!

The construction and ideal location certainly warrant a visit. Just don´t be too hopeful of seeing a lot of art on display other than the building´s own architecture. Truly a beautiful building, though.

This beautiful park was once the playground for the
wealthiest families in the colonial era, and is now
the perfect place where locals and visitors can spend
a sunny weekend afternoon to relax or shop for
souvenirs at the market. Kids can run around or grab a
bite of cotton candy while teens and adults wander
around admiring the charming gardens and the
sculptures that adorn it. Once the heat rises, it may

I have seen pictures from a restaurant or bar on the roof across the street looking down to the Palacio de Bella's Artes. Does anyone know the name?

Not when I was there.
¡Gracias!
