Had high hopes for this hotel considering other positive reviews and the photos posted by hotel website. Unfortunately, the only reason this hotel received two stars is because of the great location, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant up top had a nice view...More

My husband and I stayed in this hotel in June 2015 because the Hotel we wanted was completely booked for the days I needed. I thought that it was a good opportunity to be there, enjoy the closeness to the Zocalo and the environment. I...More

If you like old Spanish tile and an incredible morning view of the zocalo from the terrace restaurant then stay here. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast buffet was good enough for me and my 37 year old daughter. Dinner buffet disappointing but after a...More

The hotel rooms are very old and bathrooms are even older. But the location in the central historico or zocalo is very good. We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel rate is cheap and it served its purpose. I hope they renovate. Its a...More

The Majestic is a magnificant structure in a wonderful location but needs a good upgrade. The room I had was quite large, with an equally spacious bathroom but generally needs a good facelift. However the bed was comfortable and the shower had hot water, which...More

I feel that I have already reviewed this hotel as a Best Western, good but with all the drawbacks of being an old and historic building. The bricks and mortar of the building are good....but things do not really work well enough to be a...More

We stayed at the Majestic for a couple of days before travelling further east. The location is surely the main highlight, right next to the Zocalo and with a great view from the restaurant's terrace. We would also highlight the friendly staff, especially the guy...More

This place has an old world charm to it. Clean rooms which opened onto a central enclosed courtyard - beautiful but amplifies every sound! Bathrooms in need of remodeling. Staff were friendly and very accommodating; helping book tours. Buffet breakfasts were value for money

A classic old hotel with all the Mexican charm one would expect but it's seen better days. Right on the Zocolo, great location. Breakfast up on the roof, very nice way to start the day. We did have a bad start as they did not...More

I stayed at the Majestic in Mexico City for 4 nights in January 2005. The hotel itself is nice enough although the fixtures and fittings are a bit 1950s. Service was great and food good. The view from the exterior rooms on two sides of...More

Home of the Tepeneca people, Azcapotzalco has remained
faithful to its roots even as time has passed.
Beautiful details abound throughout its gardens,
houses and other historical buildings such as the Casa
de la Cultural. The works of Siqueiros, Diego Rivera
and O'Gorman are in abundance and should not be missed
while exploring the area. Walk through the streets and
have a taste of the neighborhood, which can be found
