Beautiful place to spend a Sunday morning. A fantastic garden full of Mexican painters. You can spend hours walking around all these artists and buy beautiful art objects directly from the source. You can get great deals. You never know if you'll be buying a future treasure, or only a very nice painting to hang up in your favorite part... More

We spent a lovely Sunday at Jardin De Artes looking at art, sculptures, handmade items. It was great seeing all the different styles of art, and sculpture. Everyone is so friendly. We rested and took in the sun on benches while soft music was played, we heard the birds chirping. It was very pleasant to the senses. Lots of people... More

We walked through the park on our way back from the Monumento de la Revolucion. It was a real disappointment. The park is completely run down. Much of sculpture has sadly been covered in graffiti. Not a site I can recommend spending any time visiting on a trip to DF.

Great art, food and a beautiful park...how much better can a Sunday get? This weekly event is located off Reforma and includes a huge variety of art that will appeal to everyone. If you want to purchase art supplies or have your new purchase framed...there is a large selection of art supplies and framing services available. Don't miss the market... More

Sunday is the day to go. Local artist begin setting up displays around 11 am, and by noon the park is full of all types of artwork for sale. Great place to wander through, then head over to the adjacent food market to get a bite to eat.

Jardin del Arte is a great place to meet local Artists and see some very original pieces. Prices range from 30USD to 5,000USD. Its a fun way to spend a saturday afternoon strolling through the park and meeting the artists, they all have very colorful stories and love meeting foreigners.

I have been visiting the Jardín del Arte in Plaza Sullivan (Behind the Monumento a la Madre) for years. It is one of my favorite things to do in Mexico City. It is an extraordinary outdoor art exhibition--not handicrafts, but art. Many of the artists who display their work have been coming to the same spot for years and I... More

You should visit it on Sundays (there is not much to see the rest of the week). On Sunday, weather permitting, they usually have an art exhibit. They have about a thousand artists, most painters. It's a fun way to spend a Sundays and you might find the piece of art you have always wanted!
