The shop was very pretty as was all the candy and other treats. We were the only people in the shop with 3 people behind the counter. No one helped us, very reluctantly someone did pack up our purchases, but no help at all as...More

As an English speaker who hasn’t taken Spanish since high school, I was able to get around Mexico City with my broken Spanish that mainly consisted of asking “what do you recommend” or “what is popular?” Staff would typically smile and recite the few most...More

Over a century old! This is a historic candy shop that is fun both to look at and to sample. I loved the chocolate covered cherries (maraschino) and the small pastilles that had a liquid center. Delicious! Some flavors are unusual; I asked for cinnamon...More

This is a wonderful candy store that is located in the Historic Center. The building is beautiful and there is a very wide assortment of Mexican candies. I highly recommend visiting this shop and trying at least one candy that looks interesting to you.

It gets your attention ever since you look at the façade. It really keeps the XIX century look! On the inside is an assortment of sweets from different parts of Mexico. Delicious! Service was ok. Original one is downtown on 5 de mayo.

This place has a very nice display where you can find many typical mexican candies. It's quite expensive and the worse service from the attendants.

A number of guidebooks recommend visiting so how could my sweet tooth and I resist. Among the sweets to try are the coconut stuffed limes. While they are delicious, I ended up paying US$3 for 1! Shame on me for not asking the price first,...More

Stopped here after a long lunch. Their small sized sweets were a perfect size for us. Great selection. Good staff
