Guanajuato has so many tourist features and this small Alley of the Kiss, Callejon del Beso, is really a tourist feature, but unlike Rome´s Trevi Fountain, this is a small out of the way alley that promises fifteen years of continued love to the person...More

We first found it whilst wandering on the streets at midnight. It was so full that you couldn't even breathe, and night or day couples line up (don't underestimate the queues) to take a photo under the famous balconies.

It's worth coming with a Estudiantina during a callejoneada. Otherwise you might be somewhat disappointed of how dirty and small it is. It's necessary to know the story through a Estudiantina that you can start in from of the San Diego Church.

A lovely spot for a smooch and a photo. We went at 9am and there was no queue. A man there to take photos for you for a small fee if you need it. If you go late afternoon expect to wait your turn.
