This church is really beautiful with good paintings on overall of the walls, roofs and window. This is also at the heart of the city guadalajara, mexico. This place is also connected with other historic places around some blocks.

has a great deal of history going back to when the town was founded, great architecture but then again back in the day it seems that some of the Cathedrals like around town has pretty much the same common structure if you happen to see the priest ask you will be shocked upon all the rich history it has

It is a great old gothic church - unique in Guadalajara. On Sunday they have a market - hippie kind of tianguis - and stuff going on the in the park in front. Worth the time to get off the bus if you are on it and see the church.

I stuck my head in here briefly while walking by. The stained glass windows are worth seeing. There's not much else in the immediate area.

I had visited this church twice before in a group but this time I was alone and could take it all in. The church is very beautiful and sits in front of a glorious plaza with places to eat. The interior was warm and quiet with an enormous monstrance behind the altar with the Blessed Sacrament exposed. It was one... More

We Brits see a lot of this. But it was one style of architecture that did not change like the cathedral downtown. This and the Basilica were a much more impressive version of what we see in Europe in general.

Having seen many of the highlights of centro Historico GDL in our first two days, we took Monday (when virtually everything besides the Catedral is closed, to venture forth on a bus in search of the Templo Expiatorio. For those with enough time, this was deemed by TA and others a must see. As we were afoot, we were obligated... More

The most spectular neo-Gothic church in Mexico, and my personal favorite church, takes your breath away when you enter and se the massive pillars, stained glass windows,, rosette window above the organ pipes. Outside watch the 12 apostles go around hear the clock when the carillon plays.
