Walk around or ride horses. Relatively inexpensive and a nice break from the 4 million people around you in Zappopan, and Guadalajara. Pony rides 70 pesos for 30 minutes. About $3.50 USD

This is a lovely forest, you can ride a horse, spend a day in the barbecue area, take great pictures and have your kids feed the squirrels at the japanese garden. A lovely place for a relaxing day.

A peaceful break from the hot, grimy city. Plenty of wildlife, a great Japanese garden, lots of activities, some art sculptures, a bear cave, a castle - a great place to relax. Just beware of the joggers.

The park is beautiful but needs good signals, I’ve been lost around two or three times, It was really annoying to go to principal area, I always asked to get information. Needs more security and animal care for don’t allow feed on animals

An amazing forest in the middle of the second largest city in Mexico. Ride horses, run, walk, visit the Japanese garden. An amazing gift to the people from a former Governor.
