Very large park

Colomos is a large, forested park that's great for a nice walk or jog. There is also horseback riding and bodyweight exercise machines.

Seeing all the reviews, we were expecting more of this place. It was nice but not as nice as we thought .

This is definitely worth a visit. We were fortunate that our friends happened to live right next to this park. There is no admission to visit. If you drive they just have a very affordable fee of less than $2 to park your car there at the entrance. Beautiful park and fun for the kids.

The park is well taken care of, has a lot of amenities and zones. You can either walk, hike, run, or just spend the time on the museum and the Japanese gardens. Very nice park. The only downside is they're not pet-friendly.

Bosque Colomos is worth the taxi or Uber ride for a visit. The park is free - and while it does not have pocket sized maps available, there are posted maps throughout the park as well as signs. Basically, as you enter - trails to the right head off into open areas for walking or jogging. You will see lots... More

Like so many large city parks the Bosque Colomos borders some of Guadalajara´s nicer neighborhoods. Inside this park are plenty of trials for walking, biking and horseback riding. The park features plenty of indigenous plants, trees and shrubs. There are areas for picknicking, cooking and just plain relaxing. I often go there on a Sunday afternoon, just to relax and... More

One of Metropolitan Area greatest outdoors place. Many people jog here. There is a Japanese Garden which is a replica from one in Japan and is a favorite picture setting. There are also horses to ride, places to walk, picnic areas and sometimes events in a Lienzo Charro and other spots.

This is a park within the confines of the busy city of Guadalajara. A jewel inside the craziness of the daily city life. I enjoyed the walks or runs...as you prefer. This gives me the amazing feeling of breathing pure air, knowing that I am in the middle of the city. Its so big that you won't hear any cars... More

Colomos park is wonderful. It offers so much for the community it serves, from running or walking paths, to horseback riding, to picnicking, to exercise areas, to art and dance classes. Everyone can find something to enjoy in this escape from urbanism. Near the duck pond, where various species of geese and ducks are always around, is a kiosk which... More
