The statues are not exactly spectacular, but it was obviosuly a good idea of the local Government to immortalise all its great sons form poets to scholars

Beautiful area to walk around--a must see! There are horse carriages lined up on one of the sides of the street, it makes for a great picture!

The Rotonda is beautiful, specially at night when is illuminated. You'll feel like you're in Europe.

A lovely park setting by the Zócalo so a great place to walk and sightsee. Walk the blocks around the Cathedral, Government buildings and see the murals and enjoy the day

It is just worth it to walk through this garden where honorable men from this city are represented with statues. It just a quick visit next to the cathedral.

This is a momument plaza. This place reminds us of those that have contributed to society one way or another. It is open you just walk right into it, be aware of the weather it could rain...

This is just a great place to take a walk and take some nice pictures in a Historic area. Current construction is a bit distracting but it is still very nice.
