I highly-recommend a visit here. The building is lovely, the art exhibitions were very interesting and well-done. And the Orozco murals are fabulous. Plus, it's free to visit!

We've been here a few times and enjoyed it every time. There are usually three or four exhibits and they change frequently. The artists are usually Mexican and there is information on the artists as you go in each room in both English and Spanish....More

I visited Guadalajara and visited here a couple of times as they rotate the exhibitions regularly. The building itself is amazing and don't miss the central theatre space with the frescos on the dome in the roof which are spectacular. I visited a couple of...More

Recent visit. Some galleries were being prepped for an exhibition. Will go back in next several weeks. Excellent museum.

The visit is worth it for just the fabulous Orozco murals. When we visited there were 3 special exhibits, all excellent. Most noteworthy were the photographs of Toni Catany. Outstanding!

This repurposed building houses art exhibits that periodically change. In the past few months I've seen several excellent contemporary art exhibits.

Well, I'm not trained in art, but I do enjoy viewing and contemplating art. I think this only took me about an hour to go through. It's not huge, in other words. But the choice of art was interesting and thought-provoking. One of the rooms...More

There is always something interesting to see at this compact museum that is part of the University and the Orozco murals never disappoint.

I find this a very average art museum. There are not many exhibitions and nothing in particular very memorable except the giant bronze face sculpture right outside the museum. Visitors are not allowed to carry backpacks into the museum and have to store them at...More

This is a great museum but if you are going to see the Orozco mural in the auditorium, it is currently under restoration and is not accessible. However they have done a spectacular job with the other exhibits. We were lucky enough to stumble upon...More
