But whether it's worth the trip will really depend on what exhibits they actually have when you're there. Vicente Rojo didn't really do it for us, but as I say, still a nice place to wander round for half an hour.
I had a wonderful time exploring the art exhibits in this incredible building. I also found people there to be very helpful and friendly.

Art exhibits will vary but the buildings, and the famous ceiling paintings by Orozco, make this a gorgeous gem worth a short visit if you are already in the area.
We did a tour around the institute and the massive wall and ceiling paintings did impress us. Otherwise there was a lot of construction going on and plenty of empty rooms arounf.
if you stay only for a while in guadalajara you should absolutly visit the Cultural Institut Cabanas for the bulding but principaly for the important wall painting of j. orozco who spend months covering the walls of the principal part who was a church. The...More
