A small but interesting site in the city of Cuernavaca. If you are in the area, it is a nice way to spend an hour.

Nice stop on our way out of Cuernavaca. Small archaeological site but still worth the half hour it takes to walk around and climb the temples. On street parking (no cost) and it was free entry on Sunday, so win-win. Be sure to buy some popsicles from the man out front if he's there.

Cuernavaca is a bustling city today and after spending time in other parts of the city with it's traffic and noise, you need to take a breather by visiting the Sitio Arqueólogica Teopanzolco located in a quiet residential neighborhood of Vista Hermosa. You will find the Sitio Arqueólogica Teopanzolco, (from the Nahuatl language meaning "the place of the old temple"... More

As another reviewer noted "It ain't Chichen Itza". Still, it's a small accessible ruin that's worth 30-45 minutes if you're a ruins aficionado. You can also skip it without feeling guilty.

Cuernavaca is not filled with exceptional tourist sites, so on our last day we were going down the list to see what might be out there. This small archaeological site gets a few positive mentions, so we thought we would give it a try. It also gave us a chance to navigate on the buses using our modest Español. We... More

Perfect small site, easy access in the middle of Cuernavaca. Definitely check it out if you are in town, but i wouldn't bother to make a special trip to Cuernavaca for it. I spent 30 minutes wandering the shady grounds and climbing to the top. I was the only person there during my visit. Keep children or unbalanced people well... More

Funny how nobody knew about this place until a few decades ago I'm glad we can visit but there isn't much to learn about this place

This small ruin left in Cuernavaca is worth the trip if you have extra time and want a pleasant, low-key outing. It's also close to museums. I was not charged admission apparently as a 'senior' (nice!) You can traverse it easily in 10 minutes - it was 'unifhished' because guess who showed up before the pyramids could be completed -... I like that these ruins are in the center or near north of town and are compact and beautiful. Parklike green grass and small enough you can bring small children and let them explore on there own. Interesting history from about 500 years ago.

this is a small but complete pyramid just in the middle of a residential area. It has one of the very few examples of a circular precolombian buildings, the place is well kept but small. Worthy of a short visit. There is a nice modern tiny museum in front don't miss it . Dislike. To discover that all the houses... More
