It is a short little walkway joining the downtown beach to the next beach Madera. It is kept very clean and local students have put in signs to use the trash cans please.

This walk is a nice one that allows you plenty of space to walk with a walking partner. It is so close to the waves that you can feel the mist. It is a rather short walk for getting in your miles. But for a...More

We walked this area. It is uneven. Smelled of urine in spots. Nice view of the beach. You can get on and off in spots. It leads to a shopping area. Take water with you for the walk as there is no shade.

Located nearby the marina, this malecon is the shortest one we have been on in Mexico. It's a nice walk and there are a couple of restaurants on the beach you can stop at to have some beer and Tiritas (the local ceviche dish favorite)

I enjoyed the walk to go into the village but usually we went over one street as we got closer to the center to avoid the waiters trying to pull you in. Never buy the 2 for 1 drink special unless it is beer.

Pretty walk along the water of the bay. I've walked it many times. I would avoid it during the night. There are no escape routes if confronted, there is no one to help you unless you try to jump into the bay over the rocks....More

This is a nice walk to and from our hotel to town. It is along the beach and we always feel safe using it. My husband has also fished from it, just don't fish during high tide as told to my husband by a local.

Everyone walks the Malecon. You meet lots of people, pass lots of small hotels and restaurants, and see locals fishing from the rocks. A good walk!
