I've been buying talavera pottery for over 20 years and have purchased from both the new location on Basilio Badillo as well as on Corona. Antonio sells only the highest quality talavera available, i.e., Uriate and Corona. These are not mass produced pieces and Antonio...More

We went to the one on Basillio that just happened to be open on a Sunday because they had to fulfill an order for the next day. The pottery itself is the real deal, not the factory made stuff sold at the markets. They had...More

I visited this store briefly after reading it was the place to go for blue and white ceramics. The quality was good. Nice selection. I bought a beautiful blue and white plate. It was well wrapped for the journey home.

I have shopped here for years. I just visited the new store on Basilio Badillo. It is beautiful. I love my Corona pottery and that it is dishwasher safe. One more piece is going back home. I also like working with the owner. I will...More

The majolica in this shop is the real deal. We spent an hour or so looking at pieces of pottery in all different shapes and sizes and color combinations. Really a challenge to pick the perfect piece. But with Antonio’s help we managed to find...More

We stopped in the smaller shop on Basilio Badillo Street; the main one on Calle Corona was not open for the season yet. The shop was crowded with beautiful examples of Majolica pottery. Antonio Cordero, the proprietor, and an assistant were unpacking new inventory, so...More

This little shop is a gem! I knew I liked the look of their selection even before I entered the shop. And once you do go inside, you can instantly see that this shop carries only beautiful, quality pieces - not the knockoffs that a...More

Majolica Antica is more like a gallery than a pottery shop. The pieces are hand-crafted which is a much better option than the mass-produced ceramics that you find in souvenirs shops all over PV. The staff is warm and friendly, answering questions but without the...More

We are so glad we found this store and didn't get sucked into buying the mass produced ceramics in the flea market booths along the river. Every single piece in this store beckons you to look closer and contemplate how it would look at home....More

If you have any 'majolica' in your collection like my wife does, then you'll know what I mean when I say this place is eye-candy to a collector. Amazing and beautiful pieces, but better yet is the lovely little shop that it's all housed in,...More
