Great area to visit day/night. GREAT Saturday market 9:30-2. Lots of food to eat, jewellry, shoes, clothes. And the food - artisan breads, cheeses, fresh juices, bagels, empanadas and bakery items. Also try the different flavors of saurkraut.
Cute street, always busy and bustling. The traffic gets heavier but the street just can’t get any wider. Nice shops and restaurants. Charming rustic, old Mexico feel. Can get very noisy and busy in the evening.
If you are looking for a great restaurant in Old Town, this is a good place to start. Lots of other shops as well if you need to pick up some last minute items. Freddy’s is a favorite for everything from cigars to fresh fruit.
When enjoying an 'all-inclusive' property and you have time to explore other venues - go to Andales, or Apachies on Olas Altas St! Fun places and good food!
Just around the corner up past Apachies is Archies Wok, excellent Chinese food!!!

We've walked up and down Olas Altas every year we go to PV, lots of excellent breakfast and dinner restaurants (even one with frog legs lol). We enjoyed checking out new places to eat, and the Intercam Banco machines are always available and stocked up!!...More
