By far my favorite City in Mexico. While tourism is a significant draw, thus is still very much a working city. Stroll the streets of the Romantuc Zone and you will come across family owned businesses all throughout the area. Don't pass by without noticing how the locals fit into the day to day.

My partner and I stayed mostly in the Zona Romantica because of the comfort it brought. Acceptance for all people, great restaurants, history, accommodations options. Way more fun and culture than other areas of PV.

At the end of the Malecon, there is a plethora of experiences, foods, shopping and all around fun. Massages are inexpensive and abundant. Food is great.....shopper paradise.

Enjoyed the beautiful church and the view of the ocean and the tour of Mundo De Azulejos where they did the hand painted tiles . Then we went to the Dona Engracia Tequila Factory... ( great tequila ).. very interesting history of this port .

We stayed in the romantic zone. It was fascinating and we walked for hours people watching and looking at all the many interesting houses. The roads are often of stones and the sidewalks are quite uneven which does make a walk more challenging

The old town (romantic zone) is my favorite part of PV. You can stop at any (or all!) of the hundreds of bars and restaurants. All the locals are super friendly, and will make sure you enjoy yourself! Check out the markets as well, and don't be afraid to bargain. Drinks are always cold and the food is always delicious.

The walk was fun and interesting, filled with many little shops and beach bars and restaurants. The view is beautiful and romantic at night as the big sculpture lights up and changes colors.
