Owned by Gary Thompson who is the guide for the Tuesday morning art walk along the Malecon, you can always count on a wide variety of paintings and sculptures done by some of Vallarta's best known and best selling artists as well as a friendly visit with a native Seattle man who has wisely and happily chosen to live and... A nice gallery, exhibiting many fine artists. Try visiting during Wednesday evening Art Walks, when featured artists are there to discuss their work. They are experienced in shipping large artork to the US with proper customs paperwork.

The Gallery represents Mexican artists. There is no one unifying theme and I would say it is eclectic There were several wonderful pieces in the $1,500 to $3,000 price range. The owner donates his time to free tours of the sculpture on the Malecon., The Gallery is open on Wednesday Art Walk nights. Again,I think that it is great to... More

What a shame that Tripadvisor doesn't have a separate listing for the Malecon Sculpture Walking Tour. But here goes. It took several years and a few trips to Puerto Vallarta to fall in love with the sculptures on the Malecon It is a must see and visually captivating. So finally on a trip Dec 2016 I was able to hear... More

Gary Thompson runs one of the oldest and yet most current and substantial galleries in Vallarta. Hugo Barajas and Brewster Brockman are two of the main artists and they are both amazing with a capital "A"! Royal Blue glass tiles lead you into this eclectic mix of paint, sculpture and glass and metal. Just sayin', this gallery rocks!

We love the Wednesday evening Art Walk in Puerto Vallarta. Every year we go around and see what's new. The owner of this gallery gives free tours of the art along the malecon (Tuesdays, 9 am, by the Millennium sculpture near Hotel Rosita). It's amazing the vibrant art community in Puerto Vallarta.

My wife & I have been visiting PV for 25 years with many stops in Gary Thompson's iconic gallery, & once we joined one of his excellent tours of the Malecon's sculptures. He's an original & one of the founders of PV's art scene almost 30 years ago. The work he exhibits is stimulating, engaging, challenging, spanning styles from classic,... More

Excellent, funny, informative, wonderful tour of the sculptures on the Malecon, the highlight of our trip for sure, and it was free! We were asked to consider a donation to the library which we happily did. Loved it, and the gallery was beautiful when we checked it out.

Gary Thompson is the best! He also runs the Free Malecon Sculpture Walk on Tuesday mornings and is so knowledgeable about the art, sculptures and the area. His gallery is on the Art Walk on Wednesdays, too. He has a wonderful selection of artwork, paintings, sculptures. Thanks Gary, for sharing your knowledge!!! The gallery owner leads a tour of the sculptures on the malecón which ends up back at his gallery for refreshments and a talk. The gallery also is part of the gallery crawl on Wednesday nights. It is a very informative tour. Check with the gallery for day and time. The gallery has very high class art.
