Spent the afternoon at Joe's just drinking beer and watching people on the beach. The staff and clients were very friendly and made me feel welcome. The beer come in a bucket of ice and are always extremely cold. They have a 2 for one special but even with the special price, beer are much cheaper on the street.

Ordered ceviche which had no flavor or zing. Would not go back. Scenery and location are great. Good wait staff.

I love oysters and have had the opportunity to eat them all over the world. Joe's served the best oysters I have ever had. I eat oysters raw and they served the meatest and sweetest oysters. They were inexpensive and the cocktail options were vast. Very great value and excellent service. I couldnt figure out opening and closing times, but... More

I think this place is deceiving on the road on the way in you see a white building with Joe's Oyster Bar on it and it looks like a clean establishment. We went around to the back this is where our driver dropped us and it was he who recommended it as fun bar. It had a beautiful beach front... More

I've been here many times and love it. It's the type of place you tell stories about to your friends 20 years from now! The place gets wild at night on the weekends. On this visit my girlfriend and I just went for a couple beers and ended up staying a few hours! Always works that way. The music is... More

If you're stopping in for a drink and some fun, go for it! It has an awesome little sandy area right on the beach and I could see how you could have a great time! I didn't see any oysters and the bathrooms were disgusting so I think I would keep it to just drinks.

Go get yourself a dozen, straight out the ocean, oysters for $8! Very good spot, right on the beach. Couple of beers and shots and you are out of there for $20! Great sunset!

We had ceviche all over mazatlan and must say the mix ceviche at joe's was our favorite. Great spot to come and eat during the day. We came back at night and they play good music as well. Was not very busy when we came but it was Dec 26th so maybe that had something to do with it. Definetely... More

We went to have lunch and sat in the bar area. We could smell a sewer smell and realized we were over the men's bathroom. The bathroom was huge and disgusting in need of repair. We didn't eat just finished our drink and left. They do have a beautiful place in the beach and will come back if they clean... More

When myself and a friend were in Mazatlan, we started to ask around where the best place to go for a night out was, the unanimous answer was "Joe's Oyster Bar". This was seconded when we went to a Mazatlan Venados game (another must do in Mazatlan) and it seemed like every second ad was for Joe's Oyster Bar. It... More
