This bridge is very impressive. You need to take the toll road to Durango to go over this bridge and many more. You also travel through 60 tunnels on the trip. Well worth the effort.

Drove from Durango to Mazatlan and back. There were, I believe, 48 tunnels on this new highway. There is no turnout for a scenic view or pictures, which was a shame. Be careful, the drop offs are steep!

this bridge is the highest in latin america, more than 400 meters above the baluarte bridge crossing it is an unique experience

Expensive, you will pay several tolls getting there. Also disappointingly there is not look out point to see the bridge. Finally, too many big-rigs to slow up the trip. They should be diverted.

We have traversed this mountainous area at least a dozen times on the old Route 40 - it took all day to go from Durango to Mazatlan. This road and bridge shortens the trip considerably.

there are three tolls. two has a cost of 68 pesos each and the third one has cost of $230 pesos. Yes, expensive but the trip true the tunnels worth it. Hope this helps
