Here for a family wedding

El Cid Moro is a good hotel. A couple little quirks, the water in the shower would go from cold to hot back to cold back to hot. We also reserved a room with 1 King bed, but when... read more

I was very disappointed by a historically luxury hotel. The staff was mediocre at check in, the valet/bell boys never helped either at the arrival or the departure. The rooms were clean but very old. I was there about 10 years ago and it seems like the only thing they have changed is the bed sheets. The cost is definitely... More

El Cid Moro is a good hotel. A couple little quirks, the water in the shower would go from cold to hot back to cold back to hot. We also reserved a room with 1 King bed, but when we checked all they had was 2 full size beds available, so we had our own beds for the week. A... More

Beach is not crowded during the off season ; great sunsets; sandy beach and is clean! Parasailing and other beach activities are available; the cabanas are decent and there are ample seating and lounger are provided. The sunsets are amazing as the tide rolls in!

The visit this year was so much better that the year before. The staff was very nice and went out of there way for us to have a great time. I will continue to come back and recommend .

My daughter and I went here when everyone else around us was concerned of our travel destination. I have to say the staff who work here have been employed here for a very long time. They know how to make you feel welcome, safe, and keep you entertained. My daughter and I opted out of the all inclusive because we... More

Yesterday we arrived at El Cid. Breakfast at La Concha. Feeling the Pacific breathe with perfectly blue sky. My wife managed to hug and kiss few dozens of the personnel that are like our family by now. Luis Acosta, the F&B manager, gets a hug and a kiss and informs my wife that her beach chair with the towel is... More

My room was the original from when the hotel opened. It does not look like this photo, but I had a great time All Inclusive status. Enjoyed every minute except for the cleanliness and brightness of my room. Toilet was dirty, dishes, microwave and fridge was not clean. Because we were out most of the time, it didn't matter until... More

Everyone played in the surf, it was wonderful! Keep in mind that at El Morro the flags never changed in 14 days, it was always to dangerous to go in the water. Other neighboring hotels had different warnings. We decided, and it is just our opinion, that El Cid did not want the liability so they kept the danger alert... More

Access to the beach was closed for 3 of the 4 days we were there due to jelly fish coming to the shore and being in the sand. So we only got to spend a couple hours at the beach on our last day there. The rest of the time the access was blocked due to jelly fish for most... More
