This is a family of artisans who create leather masks, ceramics and other leather items. They also sell items by other local artisans (photographers, tinsmiths, etc.) The shop is a marvel to view and you will be very welcomed by the family!

I love masks and am a collector, so when I read on tripadvisor that this local store makes their own leather masks, I had to go! It exceeded my expectations! MASKS EVERYWHERE!! The daughter, Rose , was extremely helpful and she showed me the differences in the masks she makes vs other members of her family. The hard part was... More

We went twice during Art Walk. We found it to be the best and most interesting gallery among the 27 that were taking part in Art Walk. Make sure you visit the second floor and take a close look at the masks made of leather and fish skin. Amazing work.

I stopped by looking for an ice cream shop which was across the way. So bonus indeed. A very nice place to meander, take your take and look at all the interesting works of art. Some small and others quite large perfect for outdoor garden or a courtyard atmosphere. The staff on duty then was very quiet not pushy which... More

I loved this art gallery. Their work is unique, high quality and not to be found elsewhere. We stumbled upon it while touring in the Machado Plaza area and are grateful we did. All of their work showed pride in craftsmanship. I enjoyed all of the work on display in the gallery , (some beautiful photography) but was especially attracted... More

At first I had a little trouble finding walking from Plaza Machado, but it turned out to be near what was Macaw's and goes right back to Olas Altas. Interesting little Art Gallery that is just a joy to visit.

Fun little place to visit while in Machado! Grab some ice cream across the street and go take a look around at what they have to offer!

They have some of the most unique leather masks I have ever seen. It has other art samples inside, but, I really was fascinated by the masks!

This is a very interesting gallery with unusual art and the specialty being leather masks. Very beautiful and unusual. Very friendly proprietors and cute kittens (they may have grown into cats by the time you visit, of course). Nidart is in an old and interesting buidling, which in itself is fun to see. Nidart is just down the street from... More
