They have some of the most unique leather masks I have ever seen. It has other art samples inside, but, I really was fascinated by the masks!

Fun little place to visit while in Machado! Grab some ice cream across the street and go take a look around at what they have to offer!

This is a very interesting gallery with unusual art and the specialty being leather masks. Very beautiful and unusual. Very friendly proprietors and cute kittens (they may have grown into cats by the time you visit, of course). Nidart is in an old and interesting buidling, which in itself is fun to see. Nidart is just down the street from... More

Just across from the old theater this is a must visit. Always there are interesting things to buy and we have watched the family grow up! Love the leather masks and the tiny clay people, but there is a lot more interesting Art. Reasonably price and the artists are working in the back. (Also a clean and pleasant bathroom)!

As I entered the building I was able to see first-hand the artwork being made and was very impressed with the artistic ability of the workers. There were beautiful crafts, ceramic pieces, jewelry, photographs available for sale and it was all high quality stuff. I enjoyed taking pictures of my family in the building as the architectural design of the... More

Some very unique items in this place. Very helpful staff too. Their specialty is hand made leather masks. Very clever, colorful, and unique. It is on a corner at the south east corner of Plaza Machado so it is also very easy to get to. The owners are very helpful and also have a very good map available of the... More

Nidart was recommended in most of the guidebooks as a good place for locally made arts and crafts but I found their quantity and selection rather limited. It is a large space with a beautiful courtyard and huge expanses of empty walls and shelfs. From the guidebooks and reviews I was expecting more but was disappointed. I will go back... More

This is a wonderful little shop that I discovered over 20 years ago. It is run by a husband and wife team along with the help of their children. They make leather masks for Carnaval Mazatlán as well as pottery. Art work of several artists is for sale. I have collected many masks that I display in my home. They... More

This is a nice, interesting gallery with some very unique items. But I love the court yard more than any of the art work.

We stop at Nidart every year and always end up with some beautiful art pieces. Very friendly and accommodating folks there.
