The most beautiful beach in Mazatlan. Great for swimming, bogey boards and surfing. I like it so much that I live on the beach.

Was about a 20 minute walk from Riu Emerald Bay and we did see that buses did go there. From Riu Emerald Bay you could also walk down the beach to Playa Bruja and then walk up the street from Bruja to Cerritos. Coffee bar,...More

Don't go when it is a cold day! Locals go here and be careful of robbers walking along taking your things when you are in the water. BUT - just like in US! Swim smart!

After you are tired of all the hubbub at the Golden Zone (which is a must do), come to Cerritos Beach. A few good beachside restaurants, very few peddlers, and amazing shell hunting!

Playa Cerritos is a long stretch of sandy beaches that is north of the Golden Zone and little less busy. It's a great place for kids and shell collecting.

This is a great area to surf, watch the surfers, or just relax in the ocean and look at all the sea shells that wash up on the beach. This area seems to attract the local people looking to surf or have a family day...More
