Watching cliff divers is Mazatlán is a must-do thing when you are in this friendly beach town. Take your time to observe several dives and where they dive into and you will understand how courageous and skillful these divers are. It actually requires a lot of skills and not any world champion divers could do it like they could in... More

If you are not on a tour every bus driver knows where the young cliff divers jump. Souvenir merchants of all kinds hang out waiting for tourists. Food... More

The area was beautiful! Got to see a cliff diver dive, but he was so quick, I couldn't get my camera ready in time to take photos. He was very quick to come around to ask for tips.

We have been here several days and have been able to view the cliff divers in action. These men do a great job and work for tips. Please be aware that they share their tips, so be generous!

Yes, they dive off a cliff...but you'll get hassled for at least 200 pesos and it's not that spectacular. Don't be fooled by the photos. One night they did all the preparation and then climbed down and went home. Catch it...but don't waste time and money on it.

The young men who jump to the ocean below are not crazy, they just have discovered a way to make a little money. Okay, maybe they're a little crazy, but what the heck, after you watch one jump, you'll be glad you paid a little so that you wouldn't have to. Enjoy.

It's pretty amazing to see a person leap from the highest perch in this plaza into the smallest patch of ocean imaginable.Take a look for yourself at what he's aiming for. And while the divers seldom mess, there have been some mishaps over the years. Any one of these lads well deserves whatever tip you care to give him after... More

No this is not anything like the divers in Acapulco, but it is still dangerous and exciting to see. Keep in mind, if these guys must judge the tides just right to have a successful dive. Yes they do as for a couple of dollars to do this, but I know I would not do it just for the heck... More

I didn't even know this existed for years of going to Mazatlan until my last 2 trips. It's located between the golden zone and downtown. You'll see a bunch of vendors and a platform driving by, and you can tell the taxi drivers that you want to go to the cliff diver's and they usually get it. You will get... More
