We hadn't been to Mazatlan in many years. So many changes. Nicer restaurants, shops etc. Music. Lots to do.

This is the area full of American tourists, and so the prices in the shops restaurants will be higher than you miight expect. However, the beach is pretty and the views out to the Pacific are amazing!

Take a palmoni ride there. Experience in itself. Nice beautiful views and safe! Lots of unique statues to see and art on the walk.

this is the "tourist" trap area of MZT. Lots of shops, clubs, restaurants and entertainment. Hotel Playa used to have a good band for dancing.

Our hotel was located here, and as always, my husband and I like to venture out on foot to see our surroundings. We mostly shopped for gifts for the grandkids, but also enjoyed a trip to the Vineyard Ministry which is located there. We had...More

For the Golden area, this isn't too great. However, the vendors seem desperate and we got some good deals on Souvenirs. Not at the swanky shops, they are very overpriced, but from the small mom and pop types, especially down some of the alleyways. They...More

This is area is way too crowded for my liking. Shops are a little higher end all selling beach stuff and tourist junk. Mostly shops and fewer stalls. Nonetheless we found better prices here than in the Old Town. Go figure.

At one time this area was nice, but now is showing it's age. Many of the stores are closed down and boarded up. There is garbage in the streets and on the beach. The hotels all seem to cater to the all you can eat...More

The Golden Zone is a shopping area. I didn't see any RV Parks in Mazatlan, but I also wasn't looking for them. I don't know if they exist.
