This was built for another error I like the back of the second floor The sides seats may have poles blocking your view. Small venue next to the Machado square

Gordon Campbell concert
Feb. 2020
Very nice theater, very nice music. My wife and I attended a concert organized by Gordon Campbell and featuring his son playing violin. The venue is really quite striking and the acoustics were excellent. It was wonderful to partake of a good classical music performance given by interesting performers. The pianist who accompanied the Campbell family was truly excellent. It wasn't clear to me how many in the audience were visitors and how many were local residents or Mexicans on holiday but Mr. Campbell, who spoke to the audience at various times in the performance, alternated between English and Spanish and is fluent in both.

Angela Peralta Theater
Feb. 2020 • Couples
As part of a cruise excursion in Puerto Vallarta, we visited the theater. Loved the box seats and the detail of the building. The history of the opera house and the story of Angela Peralta were very interesting.

Very comfortable place!
Mar. 2020
The concerts here are varied and it is a very comfortable place to watch them. There really are no bad seats, but the floor seats are definitely more comfortable than the cheaper seats in the balconies. A really intimate setting for concerts.

What a beautiful theater! The ballet was stunning. We would never get this value in Canada for such a great show.

Very nice tour
Jan. 2020
We mad the mistake of going to the Historic Center on a Monday and the art museum and the Archeological museum were closed. But there is still a lot to see. We happened to be passing by the Angela Peralta Theater and there was a tour on the theater which we decided to take and it was excellent. We heard the history and we got to see the inside of the theatre, a modern theater, and then viewed a art exhibit along one of the hall ways. The cost was 20 pesos as I remember.

Beautiful theater and atmosphere. We heard Corky Siegel in concert. Both his harmonica and piano playing were phenomenal. The acoustics in the theater were exceptional.

Symphony in a wonderful theatre
Jan. 2020
Fortunately, friends were in Mazatlán from Jan 1, and they obtained tickets. We attended two of the sold out Sunday lunch Symphony performances (300 pesos each).. The theatre is awesome, the music was excellent and Gordon Campbell, the conductor was his usual graceful self. The acoustics are fine, the seats are comfortable, and the experience was very memorable. The air conditioning works very well so we were glad we had taken cover ups.
