We have been to many cathedrals while traveling but this one was the most beautiful we have ever seen. The detail in the construction, the detail on the stained glass, everything about this place was amazing.

Beautiful resting areas surrounding the cathedral. Amazing windows and pews. A service was going on while I was there. The singing was delightful.

Its still an active cathedral with tourist zipping thru like a overcrowded flea market. Nice example of the Spanish influence in Mexico. Easy place to visit, easy walk from a number of shops and restaurants, But please minimize the distraction and turn off your camera...More

Apparently most of Mazatlan is not more than a 100 years old so it was stunning to see a Cathedral relatively new compared to European standards yet still look like it belonged in Europe. The architecture and artwork inside really require you to sit down...More

This is an amazing historical visit that you do not want to miss. We have visited it twice now and always see something new. Besides, there is great shopping right next door.

What a piece of history. The architecture is amazing and the atmosphere was a blessing. We wandered through the sanctuary, the stations of the cross. Well worth the trip down town to visit. Check out the marketplace while you are there.

I am sure they do not do tours on Sundays since the cathedral is still in use daily. I would contact the cathedral directly to ask.

Taxi to the church will cost less than $20 US. No tickets needed. Unfortunately, I do not recall the mass schedule, but I suspect the desk personnel at your hotel will be able to advise you.

I don't know what time mass is, but a pulmonia is the most convenient way to get there. All the drivers know the cathedral.
