we were in port on the carnival ship for the day and decided to head to the stone island beach. from the cruise terminal exit, turn left and walk 2-3 blocks. you will reach a parking lot straight ahead of you, and continue walking a bit more to the ticket booth. it was $2 US per person for the round... Just completed a trip to Mazatlan, Stone island was one of the excursion we chose. We were a group of 7, 4 adults and 3 kids.. 1 of the kids was a toddler at 3 years old. Enjoyed the trip, but I think my son and I got sick eating something there. still battling the upset stomach. Our guide was... More

This is ideal for families or if you just want to hang out at a different beach all day. The tour we purchased included 4 activities but 2 of the water activities were not available because of the rough waters. We did knock something off the bucket list by horse back riding along the beach. The horses were trained and... More

Awesome beach protected so all can go swimming. Bunch went horse riding including youngsters. We're actually riding without someone holding horse. Kids loved it. Showed no fears. Also can rent quads and travel on beach. Seven miles of beach alongside coconut forest. Great food and owners look after you with great service. Prices excellent.

Has changed over the years, but still a more remote, unspoiled feeling. Lots of little restaurants with Palapas and table chairs, lots of beach vendors, but they're very polite and their prices are very good. Nice to just lay around if that's your thing, or banana boats, four wheelers, horses are available to rent.

This a very good side trip while in Mazatlan. Very good beach which is ideal for children. Lots of restaurants for food and drink. Most have lounges and umbrellas that are available for customers. ATV's and horses available for rent. Lots of vendors if you are looking for souvenirs. There is a botanical garden being developed which is very peaceful... More

We were talked into taking a tour here by one of our waiters. Although we liked the beach, the tour was not worth the money. We were told we could go snorkeling and horse back riding, but then when we got there were told that they snorkeling was no good, there was a wait for the horses, and we could... More

Beautiful long sand beach that is flat and easily walkable. Lots of small restaurants to stop and eat at or have a drink in the shade. You can rent quads to drive down the beach too. Lots of fun! We love going there!

It is cheap so you can afford all entertainments available, however there has no much to offer. Alcohol is not the best options is super cheap and you dont know what you are getting, but more likely 90% watered
