After a long trip and walk of the village we had the pleasure of dining for lunch at the pool terrace. Wonderful setting and excellent service, with good food. Nice surprise!

Don’t expect a quaint Mexican beach town. The expats and north of the border tourists abound here, significantly diluting the recollection that this is Mexico. But the sunsets can be spectacular.

We had a day at Barra Navidad. and it was great. The beach was awesome, nice swimming. and really beautiful. The little town was clean and safe and had anything you could want. Many small inexpensive hotel that do monthly rents. Very nice people there.

This is a beautiful little seaside town. Lots of great places to walk and take pictures. The beach is beautiful, but just to look at, not to great for swimming.

Yes, there is a spa at the hotel which is o.k. and there are some nice ones in town where they massage you right next to the ocean, which is divine.
