The park area at the Malecon is lovely. Some good shopping and restaurants. We found clean bathrooms on the second floor of the Municipal building. very important on a walking tour.

Nice water views and worth a quick stroll around. But, aside from some small eateries and souvenir shops, there's really not that much to see. The area is neat and clean and the sword fish sculpture is a nice photo opt. We strolled up a side street and found a local market with a wonderful selection of local tequilas which... More

Very historical, old town. Nice to cruise through, enjoy the malecon & drive by the huge port. Many shops & market stores along with several restaurants to stop for lunch. But after seeing it once, no need to return.

Being the old side of Manzanillo it could grow significantly if it had a touch up, here you can find several events (do check before heading out there), the only book store in town (as far as I know), some souvenir shops (with the cliche mexican stuff) and if you like fabrics you can find some stores with a variety... Great views of the harbor and navy base. There is a large park, some trees and statuary to see. Ofter the city hosts live performances. There'll be carnival entertainment this coming week. There was Valentine's today.

The iconic towering blue sailfish statue can't be missed. There's also a colorful Manzanillo sign that's perfect for pictures with the bay in the back ground.

Is not crowded as other 'Malecones' in México. But if you had a hot day at the beach, this is a good option for a refreshing evening walk, just to hear the sea at night.

We took a cab and for 2 hours we visit the downtown, Manzanillo Malecon and the best interested points of Manzanillo. Very big port and quite city.

Walked around and bought a few little things. Good selection. They have a nice huge fabric store, which you don't see much any more. Restaurants looked interesting but did not get a chance to try. Manzanillo is a work in progress, I hope they get there.

The centre has changed dramatically over the last 28 years. When we lived here it was beautiful and friendly and welcoming. It has become very much a port and is not very appealing or welcoming anymore so sad to say.
