The nicest tropical beach I have ever visited, and I have seen a few. The bay keeps the waves just right, rarely too violent with sections that are perfect for swimming and others that are more adventurous. The vendors are persistent and annoying with little to recomend them though I would reccomend seeing Elsa for a massage near Gran Festivall... More

Love love love this beach. Most favourite place in Manzanillo. Be sure to visit Oasis Beach Club for supper in the restaurant and lunch on the beach. Tuesday and Friday are live music happy hour on the beach from 4:30-6:30. So much fun. Watch out for sand flies- be sure to bring your Deet bug spray. I came home looking... More

Playa Miramar is a very long, wide sandy beach. There are areas where it is busy (near the restaurants) and also where there is no one. Lots of good restaurants, beach activities, and mercados to buy souvenirs. Lately, there have been massage tents set up. There's nothing better than a good massage at the beach for a reasonable price (300... More

Either empty (most of the time) or ridiculously crowded (any holiday and especially Semana Santa), this is a nice beach with moderate undertow (you can get into trouble in the surf here). Some reasonable seafood joints on the west end and not too agressive trinket sellers. Worth a visit.
