This is a beautiful beach to take a stroll on or find one of the many restaurants and bars in which you can have food or just drinks. This beach is very clean considering its length and usage.

Gorgeous views, warm water - everything you could want for an afternoon at the beach. You could sit at a local restaurant and have a cold cerveza while people watching, or grab a piece of sand and sun worship the afternoon away. Can't wait to...More

Beach was nice, however had to purchase beverages in order to get an umbrella. Waves were quite high at the time which may be why the beach was fairly empty. Took city bus there so was very inexpensive.

I have never seen anyone here with scuba gear. There is a place in town that rents equipment - like snorkeling gear and likely scuba too but I have seen no evidence at Playa Miramar.

From the port you can hop on the #1 bus for 7 pesos. The bus ride is only about 15 minutes.
