Beautiful reef here. Accessible by beach or boat. No current at all. Areas are all buoyed off so you are in no danger of boats running you over Tons of life. Quick trip out of town. Take drinks and food with you. Prepare to spend the day. Take an umbrella if you have access to one.

Lots of small and medium size crafts come here with turists for lunch, is nice, but could get busy, still free umbrellas and long chairs with purchase of food or drinks.

Snorkeling was great! We took an excursion from Las Brisas. Miguel was our guide and was fantastic!!! Lots of fish to see.

Nice beach but way too crowded for me. We took a cab there and when we arrived there were three locals opening our door only to hound us. "Come to my restaurant, it's nice, it's quiet"...... We arrived around 10:30 and by noon it was packed full of boats - literally right in front of us.....yes, I love the smell... More

Visited El Zarape Restaurant on Maguey beach on 3/09/2017. Greeted by the owner Abel Ortega as we arrived by taxi. Led us down the stairs to his place. Spent 4 wonderful hours there. Had drinks, great food and fine conversation with Abel. He is very proud to fly the US flag over his restaurant. We will be back next year.... More

We visited Maguey during a boat tour. Lovely beach with nice sand, calm water to swim and play in, and reasonably priced food/drink. If we had more time, we would have definitely gone back. Travelling with children ages 4 & 6.

We are attempting to visit as many of the wonderful Huatulco beaches as possible during our month long vacation here. Spent a day at Maguey Beach. It was wonderful. A kilometre of beautiful sand to walk upon and several great restaurants. We always pack our own little "sun tent" so we can set up far from the crowds for quietness.... More

The food and sand is amazing here. Tour boats are constantly coming in. Great opportunity to tan and swim.
