Although the sand is not very clean and the sea is a little brave in this zone, you can enjoy a good day. I consider for swiming is not a place for kids, only if you have continuous supervision on them, however you can find several activities: ride a horse, beach sports, palapas, etc. Of course I don't recommend to... We go there at least once every winter. My husband loves to surf the waves. The restaurants see you coming and their fast food is expensive but that is the way for them to make money.

We went there on a Saturday not knowing that locals also enjoy a day at the beach! Was full in a matter of minutes. We had to pay for chairs and a palapa. Was an interesting experience. Never went back on the weekend.

the beach is nice and safe. the main thing to worry about is the current. getting out too deep is very dangerous and if you step into a hole, swim sideways, don't fight the rip tide. the sand is hot so plan for that. other than those things, the area is very nice we always go the private huts that... I think is one of the best beaches in Acapulco, have a largest low water level in Acapulco, you can walk 10 meter throu the water and level is around 1 meter, the waves comes to the beach fast depending of wind, so you can go with a type of table of surf and let to the wave back to... More

We went to Playa Revolcdero for the day. It is so different from the other side of Acapulco( Las Brisas). The waves are amazing and as far you can see it is just this amazing strip of beach and waves. Lovely.

If you want a long stroll on the beach this is a great starting point. I think you can walk at least 10 k without interruption along here. Maybe more. I will wear my meter next time to let you know.

The sand and beach is great, the undertow quite dangerous, you must take care. No place to park your car. Beach vendors again as in all Acapulco trying to sell you something all the time.
