We walked around 20 minutes from the cruise ship terminal to the main square (Zocalo) and found this cathedral. You cannot miss it. It's quite striking in appearance with its blue dome. The blue and gold theme continues inside.

This is a very historical church and it is very active on the weekends. It is located in the heart of the Zocalo square and it is very picturesque!

Large space with many artifacts. Splendid valuable metals and art work. We were there after dark would be more pleasing during the day

We have visited hundreds of Catholic cathedrals in every continent, but none so...., so..., strange. It's not even a big church..., more like a mid size chapel. Disappointedly dirty outside and the surrounding area. Worth a quick stop though...

This is a charming site with a some beautiful views. That said, it's a bit of an uphill walk, and but a small, quick visit.

About a km from cruise dock. Nice small church with a park around it. Seemed safe enough although this city has many many police around with lots of guns
