Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went to this hotel in April 1999 for 2 weeks first week Easter week there are many Mexicans on vacation during this week the room was very clean the buffet style food really not good our first dinner at the hotel we We met Pasqual, an Italian of origin from the south shore of Montreal. He told us this is my seventh trip to Acapulco. We were going to have dinner at the restaurant instead of eating at the hotel. Finally, if you are going on a trip to do the party it's the ideal place Nigt Live it's a beautiful memory for us first time I took the plane from Mirabel a chance we had Pasqual as a guide the hotel located in the Bay of Acapulco the playa a dump open air I have no other comments for you to judge thank you for reading me!

This beach is most tradicional in the city; clean and calm waters are excellent for kids and older people; my only recommendation is not to go in weekends because is very crowded. But certainly is must visit if it's your first time in acapulco, from there you can take a boat to La Roqueta Island and have snorkel over there.

I took the bus to Playas Caleta Y Caletilla which is at the end of the bus line. It is a cute little beach area with many restaurants serving food and drinks. You can sit at the beach and enjoy a meal or a drink. A very nice relaxing experience. You can play in the warm water, take a boat tour, or walk among the several souvenir type shops.

It is a beautiful experience, the sea is warm and the waves suitable for swimming or diving, also simply to rest there, the food is rich can carry your own row and horn. I recommend you bring your towel or portable bed because you will have so much fun that at 6 pm they remove all the umbrella chairs and so on, so you will continue to enjoy. As for security there in the middle of the beach and in the sea is the national guard. You're gonna love him ☆☆☆☆

Caleta and Caletilla are right next to one another and are in the traditional part of Acapulco. You won't see many Americans (well, you probably won't see many Americans in general in Aca these days..) or Canadians here but don't let that keep you away. This is a calm beach in a really interesting part of the city. While you're over here you can eat at some really great restaurants and/or take a boat to Isla Roqueta (for 100 pesos) as well. I would head over in the morning to get good seats as these beaches tend to get crowded especially on weekends.

If you want to be in an area of Acapulco notable for old construction, dirt cheap prices , a lot of atmosphere, short hop into downtown to the Zocolo where some of the best food is and all kinds of services, stay in Caleta. I have to travel to Acapulco frequently from Zihuatanejo, and for 19 years have stayed at the Hotel Santa Catalina; rooms start at 25 dollars a night. Huge, underpopulated except for weekends when tour buses show up, it is owned by a father and son both Notaries, whose offices are at the entrance. The son is also a congressman. As you can imagine, security is perfect.

We love watching the people and having lunch there on one of the two little beaches. I have been there when it was so crowded you could hardly walk and other times when we are almost alone. The little restaurant there has good food and inside as well as beach dining. Spend the day. You won't be sorry.

Dirty and smelly. One of the worst beaches I have ever visited. In general Acapulco is awful, it is dangerous, dirty and ugly. Avoid it at all cost
