The roadway has a beautiful ocean on one side and colorful shops and unique often covered patio restaurants and cantinas on the other side. Overall, a very pleasant way to start your day!

A pleasant version of the classic malecon, lively (but not too) in the evenings, with the paseo and the auto cruising, cafes and restaurants nearby/above, and great sunset emanations from Isla del Carmen in the distance.

The 2 nights we stayed in Loreto we walked the Malecon in the evening after dinner and it was so relaxing and easy. You see many families and couples walking the Malecon in the evening.
