One of the things you need to do when you are in the area, either Cabo or La Paz, is to hire a local guided tour to take you to Espiritu Santo island. Of course they will take you to "La Lobera" which is he...More

My experience went from being terrified to swim with sea lions to being in complete awe of these beautiful creatures. It was truly magical.

The sea lions were awesome, but the tours we looked into only give you about 45 minutes in the water with them. We thought we would get to explore the island a little, but all you get to do is sit on a small "beach"...More

We took a fishing adventure trip with Mar Y Adventures - we camped on the beach, fished all day, kayaked in the evening and went for a hike. We had the cove to ourselves other than a sailing boat out in the water. So much...More

Highly recommended to take a day trip to Espiritu Santo. However, you can save as much as half price if you bargain with touts near the pier instead of booking fro overpriced agencies like Cantomar. Also, Mexican guides insist that you'll wear life vests when...More

The waters are amazing shades of blue and green, you can swim with sea lions and whale sharks, then dine on pretty deserted idyllic beaches. I used Red Travel to book the boat excursion, their guides are very knowledgeable and provide you with an excellent...More

We joined Baja Outdoor Adventures on a guided trip around the island. Leah is an amazing guide, cook, snorkeller and hiker. The highlight is snorkeling with the sea lion pups. But there are lovely beaches, good hikes, and lots to see and do. Worth the...More

Yes, it's true. We enjoy encounters with marine life, and this was a highlight. It is a bit of a trek to get out to the sea lions, but worth it.

I went with Punta Baja Tours and Capitan Piolin. They were really great and very knowledgeable about marine life and nature. In the return he stopped to find whales and we met one (although is not high season anymore). All colors nature and animals that...More
