Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Protected from the prevailing winter time northerlies. You can spend hours snorkeling, hiking the trail across the island to the high cliffs on the Eastern shore, and watching the fiery sunsets behind the Gigante Mtns. Life experience. Will never forget it.

Mesmerizing. Absolutely gorgeous. Great place to sit down and do nothing. Just contemplating how beautiful this place is.

Make sure to get.there as early as possible to avoid crowds. (It's not as crowded as Maya Bay I'm Thailand and way more beautiful).

This beach is as close as it gets to Maldives, where I've been twice.

We were taken by Baja tours and had lunch here. It was amazing, the water is crystal clear and you can see many fish of every color. We did some snorkeling and it was great. You cannot go beyond a certain point as the cliffs are dangerous. Be sure not to leave any trash on the beach.

beautiful shallow bay, great for kids and on a lucky day you may enjoy it without having to share with 300 + parientes, but don't count on it...

Amazing colors of the water combined with the rocks. Shallow and transparent water, but cold. It is accessible only by boat but it is a must see

We got to spend our time here while others snorkeled in open water. Danny tours left us with snorkel gear and we got a kick out of snorkeling in the shallows. We got to see angel fish, a puffer fish, and an octopus.

One of our favorite stops in Baja. Great beach for beach walking, swimming and snorkeling. Plenty of marine life can be found. Water clarity was excellent. Water temperature was cool, but we did not need wet suits. Fascinating rock formations can be seen by touring along the coast via boat. No services are located here. Highly recommended.

I have visited many places, but I must say this particular beach it's like a hidden gem in the middle of the sea of Cortez. I visited this place on two different tours during a quick lunch stop and both times were breath taking. You can go near by the rocks to see few corals and find plenty of fishes. I went with Alonso tours and the guide highly emphasized the importance of leaving the ecosystem alone; meaning DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING FROM THE BEACH AND DO NOT FEED THE FISHES!!! which not many tour operators care about the environment as long as they make money. My tour offered umbrellas and we were able to sit back and relax on the shade to admire the tranquil waters. The boat ride was nearly over 2 hrs.

Was lucky to get there with Selkie Travels- after exiting snorkelling with Sea lions we got to this beach for lunch - it was the most breathtaking beach I have seen- sand is white and water is so super blue- it was worth every penny - make sure you save a day for this trip as it is not close from La Paz and all depends on weather as well — so book it and enjoy the raw beauty of Baja
