Valle de los Gigantos, 20 or so miles south of San Felipe on Route 5. You pay an entry fee of $10 US dollars per car to access a dirt road loop that gives you access to hundreds of Cardon Cactus. Similar to Saguaro Cactus...More

Thanks for the correction on the type of cactus. As for the four wheel drive, I think it depends on the recent weather for the road conditions. We definitely were thankful that we had an all wheel drive car.
