We got a long tail boat from Ao Nang to Tup, it costs 300 Baht each and takes around 25 mins to get there. Once there you have to pay 400 Bhat as a national park fee. The island is very beautiful and had lovely clear water filled with fish swimming all around, they aren't bothered by all the people... More

We visited on a longtail trip to 3 other islands from Railay. This was our favourite place by far. It is a stunning sand bar connecting 2 tiny islands with white powder sand and clear vivid blue seas with teeming fish - lots of stripy sergeant major fish at the waters edge that followed you around. Good snorkelling.

Tup is only a very small island and it gets very busy between 10am and 12.30 with all the island tour boats coming and going. The views are stunning and a great place to swim and take pictures. In low tide you can walk across to Chicken Island as well. We hired a private longtail to ourselves and went out... More

have been on this island twice, but find it a little too much for tourists to go there. otherwise it is very nice to go there in order to go over to the other side when the tide is low.

Lovely island which is art of the four island tour. stopped here for lunch. If you lucky, during lowtide you will be able to walk between both islands. Good experience.

If you choose your tour operator wisely, they will take you to the best places at the best times. Tup Island needs to be seen at Low tide, when you can walk between the islands on the sand bar. Its just a pretty little photo opportunity during your longtail boat trip around the waterways. We chose Big from Krabicasterwaytours for... More

This is one of the tiny islands out of the 4 islands. Only good point is when the tide is low, the sand is visible and you can just walk in the middle of the sea to go to the neighboring island. Beach is small and you can't find lot of shades here.

So overcrowded on a tiny stretch of sand. The snorkelling is not great and there is rubbish in the sand. Not what you expect for 400baht national park fee. The 4 island tour was the worst we've done in Thailand.
