Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The staff are encyclopaedias of knowledge and the bonsais are spectacular. Natives we never knew could be bonsais as well as traditional and modern styles.

Even if you're not particularly into plants/gardens, you should visit The National Arboretum and see The National Bonsai and Penjing Collection.
It's probably the most comprehensive display of this beautiful art anywhere in Australia.

Excellent display of some gorgeous bonsai. Not allowed to touch anything so probably not great for little kids who can’t control themselves.

Some of them had lost their leaves or had them turning autumn colours so I would love to go back for spring next time.

Amongst all amazing museums and galleries in Canberra, I fell in with the Bonsai Collection. Such a fantastic collection of beautiful Bonsai trees with a rich history of care, art and love behind each single Bonsai. I would definitely recommend visiting this place.
