We so enjoyed visiting this beautiful cathedral looking over this old town. The history, beauty, and amazing pipe organ in this church was a highlight of our visit. The people in this little town are so welcoming - enjoyed our visit here immensely!

The cathedral is on the hill - so you have to walk a little up the hill ;-) But I think it really is worth while. You really have a nice view from up there.

This is the smallest cathedral in France and set atop a large rocky outcrop overlooking the village. It's a bit of a steep walk up the cobbled streets to get here but we’ll worth the climb. Check out the wonderful marble altar and the lovely...More

This Cathedral is the smallest active Cathedral in France, and was built in the 1200s. Located in a charming Medieval town with lots of history, picturesque streets and buildings. The Cathedral is on a hill with great views

This was a hike up a steep hill - but definitely worth the trek. The building’s kind of plain on the outside but lovely on the inside. I encourage you to walk through this medieval town to see the jewel at the top.

Stopped in Viviers with our river cruise and visited the Viviers Cathedral. Small and plain outside but beautiful inside. The organ master played for us, magnificent.

The Cathedral is small and relatively plain compared to most other Gothic Cathedrals. This in some ways is a great benefit because you can actually see and appreciate the actual building as opposed to the paints, sculpture, tapestries that usually dominate the interior of Gothic...More
