My lively Labrador loves his jolly jaunts around this place. It is a veritable sniff fest for him! But for me it is a sanctuary. The scents, the buzzing and to-Ing and fro-ing of the insect life that inhabit this tranquil place, transport me to...More

A variety of habitats make an interesting visit in peaceful surroundings. A long board walk takes you over swampy ground and makes for easy walking. Dogs are allowed as long as they are on a lead.

Sits on both sides of a road. I prefer the left hand reserve which has a pond with ducks to feed and is always the quieter of the two. Bring some food for the ducks, especially during the winter if they have hung around. On...More

I lovely hidden gem not far from town. A great place for a five year old to run around and explore is a safe place. Shelter from wind as well. Real lovely

Lovely peaceful place to wander round. Two sides of the road. Walkways are well looked after, and maintained. Lots of wild life, on the small lakes and woods.

Very tranquil , it is nice to look at the still water in the ponds on a winter's afternoon. It would be even better if there were some benches to sit on. Free car parking on site.

A Wildlife Trust Reserve which is well managed and has easy access from its free car park. An abundance of wildflowers, birds, butterflies and insects populate the site which has a boardwalk snaking through its many varied habitats. A must for all nature lovers. The...More

This small reserve has a lot to see. The trails are clearly marked. Lots of pond and bird life. If going in the evening I would wear bug spray or sleeves etc.

Free parking. Free admission. Helpful signage with "things to look out for" and maps of the site. Clear paths are cut through the reserve and there is a nice boardwalk over the reed bed. Nice and relaxing. Come here and chill. Birdsong clearly audible, except...More
