Mostly beautiful and unspoilt, this trail leads right up one of the hills and back down the other side. The biggest part is in the forest. Along most of the trail there are clear indications of which way to go, except at the peak of...More

Do note that the start of the trail isn't well marked and it seems that you are walking through someone's garden when you start. Trail is self-guiding, though not really well-marked once you get going. There is also construction and development close to the beginning...More

Starts from behind Oly Apartment building. Go through the open gate with hearts on it - really - and then head up. The first half is straight forward - just undulating - with some broken trees across the path that you can either go over...More

One of my favourite treks in Cameron. Around 2 hours of average climbing to the peak of Gunung Jasar (People with back or knee problems, please abstain..), the path offers a great view on the Cameron Highlands at the peak when the weather is clear....More

We started this hike behind the Oly Apartments and this ends at the power substation and finally at the police station in Tanah Rata. The beginning trails through a private garden like place, but then after few minutes it really starts with a narrow path...More

This route was fun and not as muddy as trail 1. The paths are well demarcated but there is a considerable amount of climbing up tree roots so a minimum level of fitness advisable. Take water and snacks. After the trail you can rejoin the...More

If you want to book a really great jungle hiking tour ask for Jason at the "Father's Guesthouse". He's a very interesting and knowledgeable person. We learned a lot about nature and Malaysia in general!

Hi, Ana, You DO NOT need a guide to hike along this trail. It is very clear and well-trodden. Just follow the main trail and do not proceed after you have reached the peak of Mt Jasar. Please refer to my review. Chai.
