Took 3 llamas for a trek around salcy forest. The communication prior to the day by Lizzie was fantastic and always prompt. On arrival we were introduced to the animals in our hen do party, all of which had tinsel and hearts round their necks and it was explained how to walk with them. I took a young lady for our first date on the Llama trek and she loved it. it was a great chance for us to talk and experience something fun to lighten the mood. My son and I experienced the Llama walk as part of a free activity day held at Salcey Forest, hence the 5 star value for money as we didn't pay! Lizzie, who runs Abbey Llamas has 3 llamas & 2 alpacas - they are a delight. She met us in Salcey Forest & we had a 75minute walk, leading the animals, whilst Lizzie told us all about them - what they like to eat, how to care for them, their traditional uses on their homeland etc. It was really interesting...
