Very interesting but needs more information about Marco's life

This home is beautiful and has a great lakeside setting. More information about Marco's presidency would be nice.

Accessible by tricycle for hire in laoag city it is located in paoay a different municipality of ilocos norte. Once you enter the house you will understand why former president marcos loves the place. You can feel the breeze from paoay lake all over the place and the whole house was so airy and spaciouand theres that sense of peace... More

A friend took us here. I'm not a fan of dictators, so for me, this was a waste of time. They use it as a wedding and party venue. The only plus was that the store had some nice local woven blankets, at a better price than the market.

The place where the Marcoses stayed while in power. The structure is a landmark alongside Paoay Lake. We were toured around the palace, looking at each room where the First Couple and children stayed. Brings you back to the vibrant days of the Marcoses where parties were held often. This is a must-visit place.

The place seems to be well maintained. There's a guide inside that points you on where to go, who used to use the room, or you can just ask him questions. I find the house very relaxing. I want some of the furniture inside like the chairs. For a big house, the bedrooms, guest room downstairs is too small. The... More

Captivating View of the lake. I could just imagine how wonderful this place was way back when. I just hope the government can preserve or even bring back the grandeur of the place.

I was overwhelmed with the place. Once regarded as the seat of power in the north I am now walking on this corridors and the magnificent staircase where most powerful leaders were once invited. You can feel the presence of once great leader looking over the veranda acroos the small river outside the lawn. What a place!

His house has a perfect spot. But I think that a small one for being a president .everything is being well taken care of from furniture up to the pictures. The pool outside is quite dangerous they should drain it, what if someone fell of. It was filled with dirty water. Dont forget to buy your sweet potato and banana... More

The history of the Marcoses continued at The Malacañang of the North, which is another attraction in Ilocos Norte. This well-maintained mansion is a great place for history enthusiasts and students. The mansion is barely made with reinforced wood and resembles a Spanish architecture. The ceiling is built high and the columns were large. The floors were shiny and the... More

Nothing really to do here, the view was nice over seeing the wide place and the sea across. taking some pictures is a must. Don't leave your gadgets unattended.
