Totally worth a visit. Approach road is well built. Once you reach the site you will have to watch 500 meters on a well paved pathway. Site is just mesmerising with water flowing down a large reservoir and the river in the backdrop.
Note:
Carry umbrellas as there is no shades around.
There is a small tea shop at the parking venue for light refreshments if you like.

If you are nearby. You can visit. For a few photos. If you go at sunset time, you will get lovely photos. A reservoir with forest around. Need only about half hour here. When approaching the reservoir you will come head on to a gate and maybe find a car or two parked here. You can get down here and walk on the dam or take the road on the right and park near the reservoir canal at the far end. We did the latter. The canal start is at this end and you will recognise the photo that is publicised for this spot.

It's a reservior with awesome views. From the parking area, a leisurely walk for 500 meters along the dam wall takes you to th eend where the actual arc shaped spillover of ater happens before flowing through the canals, But when we visited in mid Feb, water level was low, hence we couldn't see the spillover. Suggest, it should be visited up to December when water levels are high. It can be clubbed with visit to other Kushal nagar attractions like Dubare Camp, Nisargadham & Bylakuppe Monastry.

Serene water & peaceful surroundings. Must visit while you are in Coorg if you love nature. If it's so beautiful in March, can't imagine how beautiful it would be in monsoon. Timing is till 4 but we were allowed to go inside.

A must visit place for nature lovers. It is ideally placed in reserve forest. It has a unique shaped dam with reservoir. One cannot enter the waters as it's not safe. Best time to visit is in monsoon and after monsoon months. Tailor made for photography

Typically many people doesn't go here thinking this to be just another reservoir, what they don't know is about a unique feature this dam has which looks great when the water is full. Just check the pics I attached with this, you will know what I mean. And you don't need to plan this seperately cse if you are visiting Coorg, you will surely go-to Dubbare elephant camp, this resiorvor is enroute...so just visit this place for 10mins, worth it

A calm and peaceful place to relax and spend some time together with your loved ones . It is advisable to visit during evening. When we visited, water was less. I think the best view is during rainy season.
Parking is available. No entry tickets needed to visit.

Good views on both ends of the reservoir and close to dubare. Good to visit with family. The place closes around 5:30pm. Just visit this place if you are also attending dubare or u r around.

The dam/reservoir is very scenic. If you are into natural beauty, visit this place. it is beautiful and peaceful, and best of all, not crowded and clean!

This is closest to Kushalnagar, but you could also visit from Madikeri. About a 40-min drive. The last 15 km are through a narrow, poorly-maintained road. So, be prepared!

There was only one shop selling water, snacks, etc. at the location. Better to carry whatever you need.
