Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

There are several war memorials along Anzac Ave from Petrie to north lakes, this is one of them. Stop by and have a look!

Learnt a lot about submarines and Australia's part in the war. Didn't realise they were so old. Not sure when I thought they came about but it wasn't so early in the 1900's. There is parking and seats here as well as roses

I have literally driven past this place hundreds of times and have always said I would stop and have a look.
Well, after hundreds of time, I finally stopped and had a look.
It was excellent. It was very informative and had some really great information to read.
It was great to see no graffiti on it which was nice.
Stop by and have a look, its a ten minute stop and really great to do.
Glad I finally did.

Australian Submarines is almost forgotten about, but after reading and looking at this impressive display you immediately feel connected to our defence services. Submarine model is exceptional.

I knew vaguely that there were submarines during WWI, but didn’t realise that two of them were Australian, or how big they were. The scale model and the plaque are very informative, and well worth stopping to see. It’s right next to the box park.

We walk past this on our regular walking route. If you're into War Memorials or general history of the Pine Rivers precinct and its linkage with armed forces, this is worth checking out. There are more sites to check on Anzac Ave, so don't just stop here, check the others (near the Petrie Water tower, and cnr School Rd and Anzac Ave.

Beautiful small replica of AE2 Australian Submarine, it is located in the corner/entrance of the park with a big sign of history and description. It is a small park with a BBQ, a couple of swings, bench, and a little creek crossing the park, no toilet. I went with my boy and a baby and they loved the submarine, we took lots of photos and had a play in the swings.
